Mathematics 101 - Fractions

kids 019 new This is my grandson, Walker. He’s three-years-old, pushing four in a couple of months.

This morning his mother, Katie, made muffins, and Walker enjoyed several.  In fact he liked them so much that after his nap he asked for another, and was terribly disappointed when Katie reminded him that he had already consumed lots of muffins.

After much pleading by Walker, Katie told him that he could have half a muffin.

Walker thought about that for a minute and then asked, “Can I have two halves?”

FAVORITETHINGSBUTTON Since grandchildren are about my most favorite things, especially when they are so smart and clever, I thought I'd link up with Laurie, who's hosting "Favorite Things Saturday."  Be sure to check it out.

Well step aside Bill Gates ~ it looks like you are going to have some serious competition in a few years. Although, now that I think about it, with that superior negotiating ability he could go into politics, or perhaps become a lobbyist! He's just too cute!!

Kathy, it would be so hard to resist that cute little face - especially when he can negotiate like that. You may have a future lawyer in the making! Thank you for linking this cute post to Favorite Things. laurie

Hoping I can be just a link in the inspiration chain. Share what you do and it all continues.
Cute and I might say, clever grandson. Life's too short and if young parents could just take a step back now and then and maybe allow birthday muffin overload...once a year...the memories would last a life time.
I was an 'old' mom (36) so let things flow a natural path. No regrets.
Loved seeing my old blogging friend visit...thanks!
Weekend Blessings to ya ;-)
