to pay $4.00 for a cup of coffee?
This "Thought for the Day" is courtesy of my friend Larry Anderson who called to tell me that he had seen me dropping off stuff at the cleaners. I somehow missed his wave. I told him that I started to go through the Starbucks drive-thru right next door to the cleaners but declined because the line was too long.
The $4.00 doesn't bother me as much as sitting in that long line. In fact, I wouldn't even miss the $4.00 because I have a Starbucks card that I just keep reloading so it doesn't really feel like I'm spending money when I indulge in a Skinny Vanilla Latte or lately a Mocha Light Frappuccino.
So that led Larry to wonder how many sales Starbucks, or anyone for that matter, loses because of long lines. Hmmmmm….

I know that wherever there is a long line they won't be getting my husbands business. He doesn't have an ounce of patience! I don't like line either but I will usually wait within reason.
I almost never go to Braums (a local ice cream store) because even when the lines are not long, the service is slow.
