I just finished a beginning Photoshop class earlier this week, so in honor of Mothers Day, I thought I'd try "hand tinting" my mother's engagement picture.
Here's the original scanned photo.
And here's the "hand tinted" version.
I do need to practice some more, but I think I'm going to like using this technique. Happy Mothers Day, Mother.

You did a beautiful job on the tinting! You are quite the talented digi blogger!!!
Hope you are doing well...did you survive the deadly tornado outbreak unscathed? I immediately thought of you and all my other friends that live in AL.
And her I want to "relocate" down south to get away from the tornadoes of the midwest...hmmmpf!
Better think of another excuse to get the hubby to relocate down South!
Blessings,
Val
Just lovely!
My senior pictures were in B & W and then they "tinted" the big one. Were yours that way?
that is wonderful....was it terribly difficult?
I wish I could take a class. PS will do so very much. I took a mini course online but I like being in the room with the instructor/ha...old school.
Great job. I used to do this years ago. I didnt think anyone did this anymore. The secret is not to have a heavy hand and I see that you dont. Happy Mom's Day.
Kathy, beautiful lady!
Happy Mother's Day to you. If you see Susie, give her my best. ~ Sarah
